Epic Magazine is a general interest publication of Robert Morris University (RMU), produced in collaboration with RMU students, faculty and staff. I helped develop the UX strategy used in the publication as well as illustrating the cover of the magazine. The purpose of the cover was to show, in an appealing manner, the main articles of the publication.
Mencari Online is a start up business that intends to become the preferred source of classified advertisement in Puerto Rico. Although Mencari Online has a very competitive market to break into, this start up business will have a stronger user experience than the competition. I used the main services provided by Mencari Online to create their logo-a strong image that the audience can remember quickly. In general, audiences respond better to brands that are focused on the main products or services offered.
This illustration was created for the Red Bull Collective Art Project which is an evolution of the concept of “Cadavre Exquis” in which each collaborator adds to the Collective Art through being allowed to see the end of what the previous artist contributed. I draw inspiration from my two favorite design styles, Bauhaus &Constructivism. The intent of this piece was to serve as a reminder of the teachings of the founding fathers of graphic design.
This series is a personal project done with the public release of Adobe Ideas. Each illustration has a personal meaning;the Octopus stands for adaptability, the Leprechaun was made when I was in Ireland and it's a caricature of one of my military friends, the Ganesh was made to bring good luck on a traveler's journey, and “Soul” (eye) was created to represent the window to everyone’s soul.

I had the pleasure to work on one of their editions as the Interactive Designer of the digital magazine. I wanted to provide the best experience for the user, not only in terms of app use but also in terms of the overall visual design.
Give Me 5 is a social skills learning App. It helps children learn about eight different sub-domains of social skills by answering questions about social situations seen in short video clips.
I designed and lead the UI team on this project for the iPad and iPhone. It was quite an experience because designing for young users is not as simple as 1-2-3, especially kids with Autism. Quite the opposite. The concept of understanding and developing for the user’s entire experience — for children presents a unique set of issues. This made clear the direction we followed, the use of metaphors in the UI had to be simple and easy for kids to interact with.
